Cowley Manor, Gloucestershire, UK

Our number one destination this summer is the stunning Cowley Manor estate in the beautiful Cotswolds. This majestic hotel is set in the beautiful British countryside surrounded by 55 acres, while the huge gardens feature natural springs, lakes and Victorian cascades. When you’ve finished soaking up the breathtaking exterior and great outdoors, you can enjoy the award-winning C-Side Spa.

With chic and contemporary rooms, a delicious restaurant and parkland, woods and meadows in the grounds, you will easily wile away the weekend here. Consider staying the  full week!

Cowley Manor

Gleneagles, Scotland

This fabulous five-star golf and spa hotel resort, set in Auchterarder outside Edinburgh, is the ultimate in luxury north of the border. Complete with an award-winning ESPA spa and an 18 hole golf course, there is plenty to do during the days at Gleneagles. Come evening, Restaurant Andrew Fairlie is the hotel’s two Michelin starred restaurant from one of the country’s most celebrated chefs.

Star Castle Hotel, Isle of Scilly

This 16th-century castle has a lot to offer: sea views, gardens and a blast to the past! Star Castle is a brilliant trip for the family and certainly deserves to be one of our Best British Staycations!

Autumn/Winter Trilogy: A/W Pampering, Plus Giveaway

Anatomicals

The colder months call for extra pampering, and skin requires a little bit of extra effort to stay nourished at this time of year. We asked quirky brand Anatomicals to recommend its favourite winter products, and tell us why they’re so good, to help you prepare for some A/W pampering…

A/w pampering

your taps are going to be so turned on, fruity bath foam

“For a bath that’s full of passion, passion fruit that is, pour this heavenly scented fruity bath foam under your running taps. Of course they’re running, they’ve just seen you naked.”

high noon for the prune, dry relief balm

“This balm does everything. It conditions. It alleviates dryness. It prevents chaffing. It softens. It moisturises. Containing cocoa butter and Tahitian Monoi oil, it even tackles chapped lips, cracked elbows and toothless rugby players running towards you. How many other beauty products can claim that?”

stop cracking up, lip balm

“Give your kissing equipment an overhaul with this soothing SOS for lips. Containing beeswax, olive oil and zingiber, this lip balm harmonises the textures and contours of your lips to leave you with the perfect pout.”

 Crabtree & Evelyn

One brand we know will definitely be helping our skin get through winter is Crabtree & Evelyn, who we’ve asked to recommend its favourite products for the winter.

“Our Hand Therapy hand creams and hand washes are great for the colder weather. The hand washes are gentle on the skin and don’t strip it of moisture. Hands show your age even before anything else, and nothing tells your age faster than a pair of dry hands.”

A/W pampering

“Our favourite winter product from Crabtree and Evelyn is the Hand Therapy. It’s an intensive conditioning cream that is formulated with shea butter and macadamia nut oil to moisturise and soften hands, along with myrrh to help condition cuticles and nails. It melts into skin to leave hands feeling softer with each use.”

We also have an exciting giveaway for one lucky reader  – Crabtree & Evelyn have given us a 60 Second Hand Fix for one lucky reader to win!A/W pampering

The 60 Second Fix Kit For Hands is an all-round treatment which will scrub, buff and moisturise your skin. It contains a Hand Recovery to gently exfoliate and Hand Therapy to nourish and soften.

Simply go over to our Dash Facebook page, like, share and comment to let us know which of the three is your favourite: ‘Citron, Honey & Coriander’, ‘La Source’, or ‘Gardeners’!
